It is well known in this household (and possibly beyond) that I am a sentimental old fool who is likely to well-up at the slightest provocation. 'I cry in the ads,' I often say when trying to excuse tears at some inopportune moment. So it was no surprise to find myself dabbing away on Sunday night when I saw this for the first time...
Ahhhh!
I love this re-recording of Frankie Goes to Hollywood's classic (Mr Barlow please note this is how to do it). Gabrielle Aplin sounds like a singer whose CD I would enjoy...
Not until now, aahh I am just a big softy that was so sweet.
ReplyDeleteGreat song, and I love that advert! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're not alone Alix ... I blubber away all the time too ... I once cried at Supermarket Sweep, that's how bad I am!

Its rather lovely isn't it :) I love the JL adds - the christmas one from last year with the Morrisey song and the current one with Paloma Faith singing too :)
ReplyDeleteHowever I loathe the Coca-cola ad - the holidays are coming - arrrrggghhh!
I am just the same, tears well up at the drop of a hat. I often think some of he adverts are better than the programmes these days and yes I am getting old.
ReplyDeleteYes I saw that advert too! I thought it was great!
