Have you seen it yet?

It is well known in this household (and possibly beyond) that I am a sentimental old fool who is likely to well-up at the slightest provocation.  'I cry in the ads,' I often say when trying to excuse tears at some inopportune moment.  So it was no surprise to find myself dabbing away on Sunday night when I saw this for the first time...





Ahhhh!

I love this re-recording of Frankie Goes to Hollywood's classic (Mr Barlow please note this is how to do it).   Gabrielle Aplin sounds like a singer whose CD I would enjoy...

  4. Its rather lovely isn't it :) I love the JL adds - the christmas one from last year with the Morrisey song and the current one with Paloma Faith singing too :)

    However I loathe the Coca-cola ad - the holidays are coming - arrrrggghhh!

  5. I am just the same, tears well up at the drop of a hat. I often think some of he adverts are better than the programmes these days and yes I am getting old.

  8. i am with you ! i cry at EVERYTHING, sometimes i dont even know why. it can be very embarressing. but i wouldnt change it! love the advert. xx

  9. Yep, I'm a weeper too! I never used to be but it seems to have crept up on me in the last few years. I hadn't seen the John Lewis ad so thank you for showing it it here - it's delightful!
