Favourite Thing on a Friday

When Mr U-t-B came back from his little skiing trip in France recently, he brought with him some lovely presents.  First there were several tins of our favourite lentils...

(Honest, I'm so pleased when he brings back these! Not only are the lentils lovely made into a salad or soup, but the tins...well, I have plans for the tins!)

And secondly, a couple of French craft magazines.  So today, because I'm rushing out in a short while, I will share with you some of the lovely patterns from one of the magazines - Mains et Merveilles  - Point de Croix, Special Montagne.

Your starter for 10:  which one have I already started on?

I've linked up with Mimi and Tilly for Favourite Things on a Friday!

  8. The bag at the bottom? Or perhaps the heart?
I bet the tins are going to be 'Lucy'd'.
What a lovely Mr. UTB bringing back craft books and favourite food.

  9. The lentils look yummy. I think you've started the little bag with the pocket which is very sweet. I thought of you while I was in the shop this week as we sold loads of old embroidered tablecloths, pieces of lace & vintage material !

  10. All the embroideries look lovely but well beyond my capabilities! And I look forward to finding out what you do with the tins!
Thank you for nominating me for a Versatile Blogger award. I'm very proud! I can do the facts part easily, but will struggle to find 15 other blogs which aren't "Award free" zones...Most of my bookmarked blogs don't accept awards, now.
So, IF I'm allowed, I'll do the facts bit and try to find a few blogs who are still accepting. Thanks again.

    1. Glad you were pleased - it can be a nightmare passing it on, so definitely just do what you would like to! I have in the past, even though I am a notorious stick-to-the-rules-er! Will look forward to reading your facts.
