Couldn't wait...

The girls are looking a little more demure now...

Dolled up in their dresses of tulle salvaged from an enormous veil I had to buy to get just a small bit for Miss U-t-B when she made her First Communion
and vintage hankies...

Making the bead crowns was tricky, but worth it in the end!

I had fun with the faces, though all but the first one had to be re-painted time after time, as I don't have the steadiest of hands...

I think these will go down well for the top of trees!

(Though actually, they might be Tooth Fairies, given that I had an impacted wisdom tooth taken out today!)

I really loved making them and couldn't wait to post them here!

  5. For how to make them in detail, see Prima Christmas Makes magazine - basically body from pipe cleaners bound with wool, head and limbs from Fimo.

  6. Ah " A little more decoram Ladies ! "
...this is what the manageress of the shoe shop in Brighton where I worked many moons ago said to we sales assistants after our fits of giggles when a customer tried to return a pair of Italian shoes he'd obviously worn to garden or farm in !

Totally divine & dainty in their beautiful dresses.

Ouch for the wisdom tooth extraction xx
